Departing from Reykjavík, we begin with an aerial view of the city. Passing over lave fields, craters, colourful mountain ranges and hot springs we see how subterranean energy has shaped the country. Moving along through Þingvellir National Park, when we approach the glacier. Deep crevasses and steep ice falls start to appear and as we land on top of the Langjökull ice cap, the glaicer’s raw and primitive forces take over.
Please remember to bring warm clothes, including a waterproof & warm coat and suitable footwear for walking in snow (even in summer).
